DUBLIN (23rd June 2017) : XBRL Ireland have made available the final 2017 taxonomies for reporting under FRS101, FRS102 and IFRS in the Republic of Ireland. The status of this release is RECOMMENDATION. This release is intended to provide reporting entities and solution providers a stable framework for modelling financial reporting in the Republic of Ireland under FRS101, FSR102 and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the technical reflection of same in the XBRL/iXBRL format.
This taxonomy was initially published in Public Working Draft (PWD) in December 2016 and was followed by a public consultation period . XBRL Ireland have reviewed public feedback received and have taken this into consideration for the release of this taxonomy. The feedback reviewed did not result in any changes to the published PWD and this has now been released as the final version without further edits to the existing release. Users who have previously downloaded and installed the PWD release do not need to make any changes or re-install the prior version as a result.
